Artist Statement
Bezuneh Bezuneh Tesfa

For me, art is a powerful language. It is not just about creating something visually appealing, but a way to tell stories and history, reflecting humanity's soul. Art allows me to connect with people by sharing my experiences and the rich heritage of Ethiopia and Africa.
My roots, my culture, and the world around me inspire me. The Beauty of Ethiopia’s History and its people fuel my creativity. My experiences working internationally and collaborating with artists from different backgrounds have also significantly shaped my artistic vision. Beyond inspiration, I find immense joy in the process of being a sculptor—the feeling of clay in my hands, the heat of molten bronze. Every step, from molding to casting, is both a challenge and a reward, a journey that gives me satisfaction.
Through my Art, I aim to convey a message of faith, hope, and love. I want my work to inspire future generations and show them that their stories, identities, and culture matter.
